Integrating Numeracy Beyond the Math Block – Kendra Jacobs
How might we mathematize children’s experiences, all day every day? This session is structured around a community-based math workshop approach, bringing to life the identities of all children as mathematicians. Together, we explore how math weaves throughout our day-to-day experiences in the classroom, including morning soft starts, literacy connections, and practical routines to facilitate thinking and oral language development which are inclusive for all mathematicians.
