Alison Fox Mazzola is a math coach, workshop leader, and consultant to public and private schools in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. She has over twenty years of teaching experience with children. She is particularly passionate about helping parents and teachers use Mathematical Practices to deepen student understanding. She also blogs about math, teaching, and parenting at: https://www.elementarymathforparents.com. Alison is a graduate of Wellesley College and holds a Masters Of Education from UCLA. She also co-authored a book with Michael Thompson: “Understanding Independent School Parents” which was recently mentioned in The Atlantic.
