Scavenger Hunt

In this context, a group of friends participate in a scavenger hunt at a birthday party. Throughout the activity, participants are rewarded with candy for solving each clue. At the conclusion of the hunt, students are asked to determine the amount of candy collected by all six friends and to use a graphical representation to compare the quantities. But, was the collection of candy fair? Students will use the concept of mean “the great equalizer” to redistribute the candy so that everyone receives the same amount.
