In this unit, students will explore the volume of a rectangular prism measured in Girl Guide Cookies. Cookies will be introduced as a non-standard unit of measure in order to explore the relationship between the area of the base and the height of the prism. As the unit progresses, standard units of measure will be introduced and students will begin solidifying a formula to calculate the volume of a prism.
