    biggest take away / inspiration:

help students develop a mathematical identity by creating authentic mathematical thinking experiences (To do this we need:

Exploration, questioning, conjecturing, reasoning, representations, discussion, collaboration)

The wonders of mathematics (mathematical games, code-breaking, game theory, topology, card magic, number patterns, platonic solids, prime numbers, fractals) are a great user-friendly platform for encouraging thinking and exploration

I thought Game Theory sounded extremely fascinating, all about human decision-making (wonderful intersection between mathematics, phycology, economics)
