I enjoyed this one; lots of food for thought (great summary given at the end too.)

My favourite idea was to incorporate stories of mathematical brilliance (especially mathematical brilliance from cultures other than the dominant culture) and how these could be used to explore mathematical concepts, like the number system we use (prompting thought around how it works, how it came to be/was developed, that other possibilities for number systems can and do exist.) I think it is beautiful

I too enjoyed this session and the idea of exploring stories of mathematics from various cultures. The different base number systems example was awesome.
