    1. The “good” at math group – curious, sense-making, understanding, paying attention to teacher: and then some other characteristics in common with the other group

    2. The “poor” at math group – not very alert, not tidy, life at home not so good

    3. Common amongst many in both of these groups – focused/not so focused, think on own/ does’nt think, sincere/not so sincere, not attentive
