Awesome stuff!
Any chance we might be able to break down your two goals into smaller parts? How might we start doing both of these things? Would love to craft that out with you.

I am going to use Notice/Wonder, Would You Rathers and Estimation 180 this year. Also, I like the idea of vertical learning, where students stand and work out problems together on a whiteboard. I am also incorporating open questions in my lesson plans. I bought one of Marian Small’s books after I listened to her on one of the podcasts. I loved hearing her speak and give ideas for the classroom. I need to find more information on the topic of how to teach with parallel questions to go along with open questions. I was happy to find more ideas of how to put together numberless word problems. I am so glad I have found Making Math Moments. I have listened to your podcasts nearly every day. Some I go back and listen to multiple times. Thank you again.
