    Hi, I haven’t really used tricks as I am just beginning my secondary teaching journey. I will explore her resources. Thanks 😀

      Good on you! One thing to think on though is whether some of the ways you learned math involved tricks that just don’t feel like tricks. For example, I’d argue that long division algorithm is taught as a trick in most classrooms because it wasn’t developed or emerged with the students… it was just given or shown like a magic trick. Just good for thought!

      It’s been a while since I watched this session. Was it a Desmos activity or something? It might be expired now since we are a couple years down the road from when this session was created.
