Good on you! One thing to think on though is whether some of the ways you learned math involved tricks that just don’t feel like tricks. For example, I’d argue that long division algorithm is taught as a trick in most classrooms because it wasn’t developed or emerged with the students… it was just given or shown like a magic trick. Just good for thought!
