    Here are my goals for the Academy:

    1. Provide engaging learning opportunities that will allow the students to connect, both to the math and each other.

    2. Help students to see themselves as mathematicians and get them to persevere in problem solving. It’s about the process, not always the answer.

    3. Learn different ways to assess students’ mathematical understanding.
