    • Introduce yourself.
      • My name is Reba, and I have been teaching middle school for the past 5 years. I absolutely love growing as an educator. Mathematics is so cool.
    • Where do you call home?
      • Currently in South Korea but raised in Minnesota
    • What grade levels do you teach or what’s your role in education.
      • I have taught grades 4-9. Right now, I get to teach pre-algebra which is predominantly graded 7 students.
    • What do you hope to achieve as a member of the academy?
      • I hope to build my understanding of how to effectively engage in concept-based instruction!

    Hi Reba! This is wild — the “Seoul” caught my eye, but then I read your intro … I also live in South Korea and was ALSO raised in Minnesota! Small world! I teach in Seoul – 6th grade. Super cool to “meet” you! Blush
