    Hi!  I’m from Horseshoe Valley Ontario and teach with the SCDSB.  I’m currently a grade 3 teacher and school math lead. ❤️ Both positions.  I am fun and energetic in the class room and have a great sense of humour!

    I usually gather my knowledge from various sources and love Twitter PD.   However I really love what Kyle and John are doing in the math community.  So I joined hoping to connect and go deeper with my learning and teaching.  I use three act math and create 4 part lessons with the three read strategies (marking any question feel like a 3 act). 🙌

    I joined because..I took a NEW challenge on for next year.  INTERMEDIATE😬  I am teaching 7/8 for the first time ever. Our students are struggling in math from gr6-9 and I want our 4 7-8 splits to become engaged during math

    I want to create and support engaging  lessons that spiral and cover the strand expectations required for reporting on each report card for the year  That all 4 teachers (myself included) can deliver to our students.

    Math and  history are my focus. We each took a few subjects to develop an engaging course of study  slide deck  over the summer.  Roter my not be an option.    I work with a great team who are willing to work together. New school  with dedicated energetic staff.

    I am looking forward to sharing and gathering ideas lessons any strategies with you all.
