    As reflective teachers, we are constantly thinking about ways to make our lessons more interesting, more effective, and more memorable.

    The problem is that we are often too hard on ourselves.

    We are quick to pick out areas we wish we did better, but we often overlook the many successes we experience during each lesson.

    Let’s take a moment to reflect on all of the great things we are doing each day in our lessons…

    One of my students got knowledge-hooked this week. She’s the type who rarely asks for help, but she went home and did a ton of extra practice questions, then came to me asking why her answers for algebraic substitutions went bring accepted. It was a great little moment!
