    I would like to accomplish the following in my classroom this semester:

    a) Incorporate more groupwork – close to daily.  I have been trying to put students in groups randomly at the beginning of each class, and this is working well so far.  My students don’t like it, but they are talking to each other about the math much more.

    b) I need to get much better at bringing my students back together to synthesize as a class. 

    c) I want to incorporate tasks in a way that does not feel superficial.
