These are my goals as we approach the end of the current year and move into the next:
    1. Give students time to be curious. I’m fairly happy with how math classes are going for my youngest students, but even there I think we could improve.
    2. Explore two or three Math Before Bed prompts per week.
    3. Consider assessment — move away from grades in math as I have in other classes.
    4. Journal math moments.

I’m now in planning mode! This year I’ll have two main groups, with a couple of levels within each group.

My goals for the next week:

    1. Go through the course on spiraling the curriculum and start working on my Form 1 course.

    2. Explore sketchnoting and its usefulness for math class.

    3. Start a spreadsheet — or something! — for keeping track of learning activities I plan to use.
