    I have been receiving Making Math Moments Matter emails for almost a year now. My math coordinator taps in to the goodness that she finds within Making Math Moments Matter twitter, blog and podcast. When the email came across that offered up a free way to connect and grow with Making Math Moments Matter with this newly found time on my hands….I was ALL ABOUT the opportunity.

    With this learning opportunity I want to be 100% comfortable using tasks and sparking curiosity to a point where I can provide my teachers the necessary professional development to continue our work around tasks, questioning, flexible thinking, and upside down teaching. With upside down teaching being a focus for us as a district in math, I would like to completely shift my mindset from how I was taught to teach 16 years ago {I do – We do – You do}, to a mindset that promotes problem solving and flexible thinking throughout all of our math content!
