    Hi! I’m Kathy and I have taught 8th grade math and Algebra 1 in a rural junior/senior high school in western Illinois for about 17 years. I also teach Elementary Math Methods at Western Illinois University (Adjunct Faculty) and this will be my 12th year doing that. I have even had some students in junior high and then again in my college classroom. I have joined this academy because I have followed Jon and Kyle for a long time and I know this will help me strengthen my classroom strategies and effectiveness in both of my classrooms! I’m always on the lookout for ways to improve.
