    I am planning to finish the first step within the next couple of days so I can focus on the courses. Just found out today we are doing distance till the end of the year. Now I need all the info I can get to do the job properly. This is a step in working my way through the academy.

    I got the first one done, now I”m off to choose a mini course and get it done.

    I got my first mini-course on the 4 stategies to help students start mathproblems and stick with them. It made me realize I don’t do enough visualizations in my class and I’ve already started thinking about how to do that on linear equations.

      Now that you know you’ll be doing distance for the remainder of the year, you might want to check out the “Meaningful Math From A Distance” webinar replay we did a week ago. While the content focus is K-3, the ideas are applicable from K-12.

      We plan to do another one for Grades 3-6 and hopefully another from Grades 5-10 with the same philosophical approach.
