Posted by Michael Rubin on June 12, 2019 at 7:56 pmGoal: Find a quality task that relates to the primary skills for each objective (probably 2-3 tasks for 9 objectives) by Saturday the 22nd.
- Explanation: Once I find some good initial tasks I can begin spiraling!

I’d love to know how your spiraling journey goes. I’ve been experimenting with this process, and I’d love to chat with people trying it out as well.

haha, I just responded to your post. It’s getting off to a good start I think. I’ve followed a lot of Jon and Kyle’s advice so far and started with identifying the main categories or topics I need to focus on. Then I broke it down into more skill based progressions (using the KUD model).
I’m going over them one last time and then plan on searching for tasks that might uncover some of those ideas. If you’re interested, here is a link to the page I’m working on =)

Goal 1 Update: I’ve found tasks for most objectives. Some have been harder to find than for others. But I began spiraling and wrote a post about my process (click here for a google doc link.
Goal 2: Plan for the first two weeks of school and at least one spiral before school begins.
Goal 3: Write KUDs for Course 3 and Pre-Calculus
Goal 4: Finish reading the final chapter of routines for reasoning and read Making Number Talks Matter.
