  • Making Progress…

1.) If I had one big goal, it would be to stick to doing something different (innovative?) in my class…after listening to the podcast all summer, I was convinced I would be that teacher who did things differently than others. It started out like that, but I quickly fell into the old routines of textbook use and worksheets and making sure I am covering all the outcomes…

2.) Get caught up on episodes from the podcast.

This is an awesome goal! I would love to hear your ideas – I feel the same about the old routines…

I have a rotation schedule for my class…binder work, Mathletics, and math choice (which is supposed a fun (but related) activity to get them away from the “work” for a block of time…unfortunately, I’ve only had my students working on their unit work and backing that up with the Mathletics program…I always feel like I’m getting behind in the outcomes that need to be covered, so despite having fun ideas, or different projects I’d like them to engage in…we always end up focusing on the curriculum Confounded
