    Looking forward to learning together – from Ontario, Canada

    Good morning!
    I am an intermediate/senior mathematics and computer science teacher working in Ontario, Canada.  I have been teaching for almost 20 years.  I have had the amazing opportunity to move around a lot due to my husband’s job so I have taught at a private school in Quebec and in three different school boards in Ontario. I am currently teaching students in a blended learning program.  They attend school 1-2 days a week and do a lot of their work on their own.  We are working on moving their course materials onto an online platform, but some of them do not have access to a computer at home.  I have learned that doing math help via text can be challenging.  🙂

    Next year, I am excited to be moving back to a regular classroom.  I look forward to developing my thinking classroom, spiralling my courses, and using vertical non-permanent spaces with random groupings.

    I am looking forward to learning with all of you through this platform.
