Definitely geek out about math and learning! To that – learning so much from listening to this!

I like the idea of an interactive notebook as a way for students to document their learning during consolidation days.

The curiosity building is so important at the beginning but as students become more comfortable, the work becomes more about the sense-making aspect. I like the idea of the students titling the lesson at the end of the class as opposed to the teacher doing so at the beginning of class. I think this helps give them more ownership of the consolidation of their learning and what it really means.

I really like the idea of students naming the lesson and withholding the lesson learning goal until the end and then have students share out what they would title the lesson as.
