One big takeaway for me is that I don’t have to have a 3-act task for every lesson. There are other ways that students can be engaged through unique tasks. Also, after I create my spiraling document, it will need to be a “living, breathing” document that can be adapted and changed as needed.

Awesome take aways! And remember that you can use one context to continue leveraging to keep kids engaged AND able to follow the concept since they have experienced the context.

I like the reminder to not feel the need to have a 3 Act task for every lesson, also love the open middle resources mentioned in this last video.

For sure. Check out the tasks area to see our units. We start with something contextual and build on from there. It is a great way to keep things curious and the sense making flowing!
