My goal is to take the time for me this year! I decided, in August, to take a leave of absence from my teaching position. My husband is also a math teacher and he headed back to the classroom after a 5-year leave. After doing distance learning last spring myself, we were not sure how we could both do what it takes to do this “new” version of teaching and care for our family. I am thrilled that I get to spend time learning more about what I can do to be better in the classroom for my students when I return.

To accomplish my goal, I will complete at least 3 tasks each day. My children will be my experimental students!

Congrats on the leave of absence AND your willingness to engage in new learning at the same time.
Iā€™m super excited to hear how your experimental subjects do and what you learn from the experience! šŸ™‚
