    Hello !

    I am Kelli Fisher from Sharpsburg, Georgia.   Just south of Atlanta.

    I have been a Mathematics Educator for the Middle School age since 1996 as a teacher, tutor, and Math Intervention.  Currently, I work at Odyssey Charter School (Newnan) as a Connection teacher.  I teach a Math Connections for students who have foundation gaps.

    My goal is this course is to learn additional ways to help my students improve their learning of mathematics and anything I can do to encourage them to want to learn. 
    My curriculum has Growth Mindset and evaluating your mindset from time to time.
    I also try to encourage my students to take responsibility for their learning.

    Since these students already dislike math, have lower confidence in their ability with math, I am always striving for better ways to help them.  Even though I have taught for over 20 years, I think I can still adapt and improve my method of guidance and teaching with the middle school age group 6th -8th grade.

    I work in Coweta County, the county where The Walking Dead TV Show is filmed and next door to the county that filmed all the Avenger movies.
