    I became a coach and education adjunct after 31 years in the classroom in Yonkers, New York, so this is year 50 for me in education and I hope to continue . The current health crisis necessitates my learning about remote teaching as both a literacy and math coach in the New York City schools. I discovered Make Math Moments and Tap Into Teen Minds when I was seeking an engaging Three Act Task for middle schoolers and found the Candle; then I attended the virtual conference and have been a fan ever since. I expect the Academy will enhance my efficacy as a coach and provide an opportunity where I may contribute to others facing the challenges.
