    Hello everyone! My name is Jessica and I am logging in from Ontario, Canada. I won a one year membership during Jon and Kyle’s word problem session during the math summit, and it could not have come at a better time! For the past decade I have worked in early education, with the past 6 years being in kindergarten. I recently got a full contract position a couple weeks ago for primary prep- well, I was surprised to learn that my day included a full morning of teaching grade 5 math! This is definitely outside of my comfort zone- I was never a “math kid” growing up, and even failed grade 9 applied math! So here I am, teaching 80 different kids across 4 classes and 2 schools, 6 different subjects in total, taking care of my family at home, and working on my M.Ed, I am short on time to figure things out. So I was THRILLED to win this membership because it will help me so so much in my new role! 🙂
