    Hello from Virginia, where school is out!

    Hi, all – I teach Algebra, Humanities, reading, writing, and music at a small Preschool – 8th-grade school in Afton, VA. I’m different from a lot of you in that I have 8 students in my Algebra class (could be 12 next year) and do not give grades. But I’m like all of you in that I am committed to helping my kids be resilient, creative problem-solvers and confident learners, and I am looking for ways to bring less procedural learning into every day of my math teaching. Looking forward to learning with and from you.
