    Hello from Utah!

    Hello from Utah! I teach 6th and 7th grade math in a small charter school in Provo, UT. I used Jo Boaler’s “Big Ideas” curriculumn last year and loved a lot of the ideas, but feel I need more help implementing this kind of teaching style as well as more practice. I am excited to learn more about 3 act math lessons and having the students do the thinking and reasoning. I want to learn how to be the mentor my students need to succeed.

    Hi Jeanette,

    I teach 7th, 8th and 9th math in South Jordan, Utah. I have also followed jo Boaler, but have not used her curriculum. I’m looking to engage my struggling math learners in math and make it fun.
