    Hello from Kitchener ON, Canada!

    Hi There,

    I’m from Kitchener, ON, Canada and I teach grade 8 math at a middle school with larger numbers of ESL students. I took a round about way to getting to where I’m now from going to university in Chicago, to teachers college in Buffalo and now landed a permanent job this past February right before the school shut down.

    I have been teaching grade 7&8 math for 3 years now and absolutely love the grade 8 curriculum here in Ontario, especially now that coding has officially been added.

    I’m hoping to continue improving my program by learn ways to engage all of my students especially focusing on breaking down language barriers with my ESL students.

    I look forward to collaborating more!
