    Hello, my name is Tori Rocole and I call Arkansas home. I’m a math specialist that services 22 districts located within our Education Service Cooperative. I’m excited to join and can’t wait to “learn something new”.

      Our focus in the state right now is on our state initiative “AR Math QuEST – Quantitative Essentials for Students and Teachers” that focuses on the journey for ambitious teaching that promotes equity and engagement of all students in meaningful mathematics learning experiences of reasoning and problem solving. We are also ensuring our teachers are focusing on self care.

      Our struggle…..covid and all the “upside downs” it’s brought.

    Also I’d be super curious to pick your brain regarding the biggest pebble in your shoe based on what you experience in this role!

      Yes, our state is blessed to have state funded specialists in each corner servicing our districts. It is definitely a “math community”.

      Our biggest struggle right now is covid and how we move along/past the “ups and downs” it has brought our educators/students.
