    Hi everyone! My name is Monica and I am a high school math teacher in Hamilton, Ontario. Currently I’m teaching grade 11 college and mixed, as well as grade 12 college tech. I’ve focused on teaching Applied/College level kids for the last 10 years or so, but in Ontario we are now moving towards destreaming, at least in grades 9 and 10. I’m hoping to learn how to make my classroom more inclusive and engaging for all students, with less focus on traditional lessons. I’m also looking for how to grade and determine marks when not using traditional evaluations. Looking forward to learning a lot!

    Welcome @mrees! You’re just “up the road” from @kyle and I (we’re down here in the Windsor area).

    I’m super glad you found us, we’ll be building out some content for the destreaming grade 9 course in the next few months.
