    My name is Dianne, and I’m a Learning Coach in Lethbridge, Alberta. I have the amazing opportunity to work with teachers and support their professional learning. Before taking on this role, I worked as an elementary classroom teacher for 25 years, mostly with K – 3 students. I’m interested in learning about mathematical representations that will make concepts more accessible and promote a deeper understanding for students. For many of us, math in school was mostly about remembering procedures and rules; I’d like to be able to better support a new, broader view of what learning experiences in math could be.
