Dividing Fractions
I am new to fifth grade this year, and the next standard we were supposed to cover was dividing fractions. I skipped it and am working on measurement right now. I have never taught dividing fractions before, and I know I will have several whose parents teach them to invert and multiply, but I want to somehow make the division of fractions make sense. I have worked on modeling them for myself, but am kind of at a loss. Anyone have any suggestions for me?
