I have a lot of questions when it comes to using this new framework! Just off the top of my head: how to capture formative assessment, how to best select and sequence work, how to consolidate learning after a task. I’m a huge work in progress. But if I have one goal I want to focus on for the second half of the year is to continue to use the curiosity path. I found it easy at first because the first half of our school year focused on ratios and proportions in 6th grade. There is so much there that can get students to lean in. Now we’ve started in on dividing fractions. There’s definitely proportional reasoning in there too, but I’m finding tasks harder to find and having ok success with using our text (Illustrative Math). So here is my goal:
Continue to use curiosity path in all areas of our curriculum.
