    Hi everyone,

My name is Abby Newcomb and for the last 5 years I have been teaching at a charter school in Chicago, IL. However, over the summer I am moving to Colorado where I will teach at a high school just outside of Denver. Over the last few years I have worked as both a special education teacher as well as a math teacher, although my initial certification was in math. I spent most of my career teaching Algebra and Geometry, but this year I am teaching Precalculus, AP Calculus, and a senior math elective called Transitional Math. Next year I will be teaching Algebra 1 and Geometry again.

A few weeks ago, I was introduced to the Making Math Moments podcast and have been obsessed! Despite it being the end of the year I feel energized with new ideas that I can’t wait to implement next school year. I am looking forward to learning along side of you all!
