Cathie's Goals
Posted by Cathie O’Malley on December 18, 2019 at 10:32 amMy first goal is to finally get familiar with this workshop and set more specific goals by Jan. 1, 2020 after I determine what I can complete in a reasonable amount of time.

I now feel much more familiar and I have 4/5 lessons completed in my first module. Recording my first goal really helped. Weird huh?
This is a slow week since it’s the week before break and the last week of the semester so they don’t need much from me (coaching wise) so it’s a good time to get familiar with this platform. I’m really learning and revisiting a lot of content.
My next goal is to complete the first module and then write another goal for myself. I’m really enjoying the format of this kind of pd. It makes me wonder how this kind of platform would work for teacher pd within a school district.

Hi @cathieomalley!
So glad that you’ve joined the Academy AND you’re starting to set yourself some goals. It IS amazing how setting a goal – no matter the size or even how specific – is a great launch pad to continue revisiting, clarifying, and refining to continue making progress!We have had discussions with some districts about providing school-wide and district-wide Academy access via a bulk licensing agreement. It sounds like some are getting ready to make this shift. If we can be of any help to you and/or your district, let us know and we will do our best to make it financially possible for your schools/district to provide to all math teachers.

Thank you Kyle. I will bring this up to the higher ups as I think it’s a great opportunity. I’ve gained so much from you guys over the past year. You guys are doing great things here, it really helps to keep me going.

@cathieomalley
That’d be great. We’d be happy to work with you and/or your program coordinators to create a district wide licensing agreement that will provide access to all math educators for an affordable cost.
Let us know what you hear and thanks for the positivity!
