  • Cat, UK and Australia

    Hi, Name is Cat.

I’m currently in the UK teaching high school Maths. My current classes are yr 7, 8 and 9.

I am from Australia and will eventually go back. I’m finding the teaching styles so different because of the final assessment – in UK it’s a standard set of exams, in Australia it’s a term assessment for each of the four terms in the last two years. Assessments include written papers, in-class exam and oral presentation

I am enjoying implementing (slowly) Maths Moments.

    Hi there Catrin

The UK assessments sound a lot like our high school assessments here in Ontario. I look forward to hearing more about Australian assessments.
