    I have a lot of goals for my professional development. I am going to start by listing several and then pick one to focus on first. I would also be open to suggestions on where to start. This is my first year teaching and I have a hard time figuring where to focus sometimes. 

    1) More organized class (pacing, lesson plans, grading, etc.) 

    2) Better assessment strategy. (Really interested in the fresh grade portfolio system, but want to use Google Classroom if possible) 

    3) A better system for differentiation

    4) Use more problem-based learning 

    5) Know how to teach kids to really think, not just follow written procedures
