I love the breakdown of the withholding information to anticipation to notice/wonder to estimation. I have been working at this for about a year now and it is always nice to come back and visit that breakdown on days I find myself frustrated. : )
I love that there is a predictable structure (so students aren’t relearning the lesson expectations each time), but that the information/lesson takes on a fresh look depending on the task and learning outcome.
I am looking forward to trying Flipgrid. I am pretty sure most of my students will be able to access and use this for building relationships, positive ‘classroom’ culture and mathematical understanding.
