    I can delve further into fraction with first graders. We are now doing geometry and I can teach fractions with that. I usually teach fractions with pizza and a clock but those odd numbers such as fifths would be better with brownies in a line. I can see how fractions can just be an ongoing thing in anything we do that has compartments such as ten blocks, 10 frames, egg cartons, etc. My mind is swirling on how to put this all together in my math curriculum!
