    i would use the Reeses Peanut Cup task. First, the video to start would get my students attention – the bleeping out would having them paying attention (8th graders). This would also allow me to teach how to work with ratios/rates going down (# of reeses eaten in a minute) which would allow me to show how negative slopes work. This would be great for linear lessons.
