    I agree! What you’re referencing relates closely to the “rush to the algorithm” problem we reference so often.

    It is worth noting that a double number line is super helpful for ratios and proportional relationships, but once we head into indirect linear relations, we run into trouble and thus the table/graph/equation should take over. That said, without enough flexibility in proportional relationships, you can likely expect those challenges to compound with indirect variation linear relations.
