    One big take away from this presentation was that as a teacher I need to take the time to understand a student’s thinking when they don’t get the answer that the rest of the class got or the answer I think they should get. Their thought process matters and can give me so much more insight than their answer. I can use their thinking to gauge their understanding and the next steps to take.
