    Visual representation/video of the milk poured into the container from a 4L jug. Students can estimate the amount of jugs/litres that were used to fill the container. The teacher can check the level of thinking by observing and celebrating the strategies used (low/high/final estimate, double number line, visual representation or number path).

    The second phase of the task could introduce the cartons.
