    The first take away that I had was how confusing the circle model for fractions can be. I have used this with my high school students and ended up getting stuck myself partway through because it was making it more confusing instead of more clear.

    The second take away is from one of your responses in the comments. You said that using friendlier numbers can allow for more conceptually rich questioning. I am definitely going to keep this in mind when choosing and creating problems.
