    This exercise would be a great vertical surface stand and talk. My big take away is relaizing that 7th grade students who struggle to count grid marks may not be visualizing the “zero” and students who struggle to graph points between a grid line on a graph (say, 32.4) aren’t able to to visualize half way between 32 and 33.
