    I teach older students, so initially I thought this would be “too easy.” But I see that my students have trouble understanding number magnitude – and I love the idea of using number lines that they are comfortable with, and growing them into larger magnitude number lines to help them understand the relationship. Also – I think that the number trillion is getting thrown around a lot right now, and I would like for them to understand just how big that number is, so I’m integrating that into their next at home assignment!
