    “A toothe!”—That was the best 😀

    My biggest take away is that we cannot rush students in their understanding and performance with fractions just as we cannot rush them toward an algorithm. Teaching math is almost like teaching a foreign language. That language and vocabulary piece cannot be ignored or watered down even before students are formally learning fractions.
