Honestly, most teachers I see still ask the “how many tens are in ___” all the time. I wish everyone could see this since it is explained so clearly. I’ve never thought about it in terms of division myself (especially with a decimal quotient) but it really makes perfect sense.
I wonder how I can communicate this to my teachers who do not have this access. Just like my students…I don’t want teachers to follow me blindly, but truely understand these math concepts deeply.
